Cinnamon scented pine cones and mercury glass owls, hobby lobby pumpkins and stuffed animal turkeys, cornucopias filled with autumn leaves…these are a few of my favorite fall things! Obviously this last sentence should be read/sang to the tune from Sound of Music 😉 Another one of my favorite things!
I got these cinnamon scented pine cones at Menards THREE years ago and they still smell all cinnamony delicious! I will probably have to buy a new bag next season but I just love how they leave the house with a light scent of cinnamon. And I mean pine cones just say “Fall is here!” don’t they?
The pumpkin next to the pine cones and the one below are Hobby Lobby finds from this year. I fell in love with the trellis print one the moment I saw it. The other one my Husband Mike actually chose and at first I was unsure but now I love the color and the oddly twisting stem 🙂
This owl mercury glass candle holder I got as a gift from my cousin in laws and I just think he’ s so cute! I love the bronze color and how the little flecks shine when they hit the light just right. The tree branch candle holder I think I got in Door County one year and he just seems so happy perched on the branch like that 🙂
I honestly do not remember where the cornucopia and fall leaves items came from…hobby lobby maybe? This one has been with me the longest and I maaaay have forgotten about it last year when I was preggo and when fall rolled around this year noticed it was already (still) up from last year….maybe.
This little guy is just too cute! I think this was another Door County find. Looking at him makes me giggle and Mia just loves looking for him in the fall. She will ask every now and then if she can give him a hug 🙂 Side note: The pictures of the ship next to him are of the ship Mike’s Grandfather came to America on from Germany! His Sister Liz found the pic and manifest and made copies for everyone in his family. Such a sweet and thoughtful gift!
